PCB Sampling and Analysis
 
PREPA is currently in the middle of a ten year plan, called for by the Environmental Protection Agency, to sample, analyze and dispose of insulated oil stored in the transformers and other related equipment. PREPA has sampled and analyzed approximately 138,000 transformers in use on the Island.
