electric power system that serves the entire Island. This system
is comprised of the power generation, transmission and
distribution phases, that gives electricity to 1,388,478 clients.

| The
transmission system is made up of 2,182 miles of 230 KV
transmission lines, 115 KV, and 38 KV sub-transmission lines.
It has 174 transmission centers. |

The distribution lines add up
to close to 27,838 aerial miles and 1,076 underground miles.
Part of the system is composed of 308 substations and 27
technical offices. |
